Mr. Heintjes specializes in delivering the best possible result for his clients while maintaining a passionate devotion to integrity, compassion, and professionalism. Mr. Heintjes makes every decision in pursuit of his clients’ best interests. Mr. Heintjes’ goal is that his corporate entity clients recognize a benefit to their bottom line either through heeding his advice or his legal defense. Likewise, when advocating on behalf of a human being, whether harmed by their employer, business partner, or the government, Mr. Heintjes’ purpose is to make his client whole and deliver relief in the form of money or Court Order. With over twenty years of experience, Mr. Heintjes possesses the experience to take the initiative utilizing the most effective tactical approach to any existing or foreseeable dispute. Mr. Heintjes never shies away from the good fight yet recognizes that while some situations require a ferocious advocate others are best handled delicately.
Mr. Heintjes’ practice primarily specializes in all things Labor, Employment, Civil Rights, and Equities. He is a seasoned and skilled litigator having tried a legion of matters to verdict before both judges and juries. Mr. Heintjes has handled numerous civil and criminal matters from inception to judgment, in the Superior Court of New Jersey Law, Chancery, and Appellate Divisions. Over the last two decades, Mr. Heintjes has successfully litigated or arbitrated hundreds of matters before various state agencies including the Office of Administrative Law, Civil Service Commission, Public Employment Relations Commission, Alcoholic Beverage Control Board, and the National Labor Relations Board.
Mr. Heintjes does not subscribe to the antiquated mantra of being either “labor” or “management”. His core values mandate his earnest belief that all people have the right to be treated with equal dignification and be provided with a work environment that is safe and free from discrimination. Mr. Heintjes takes pride in his endeavors to remove the cancer of discrimination from the world. Mr. Heintjes does so however necessary; either through advising employers or representing individuals who have been stricken by a discriminatory work environment or a tortious government entity.
In addition to litigation, Mr. Heintjes has also negotiated several Collective Bargaining Agreements on behalf of several local public entities and on behalf of various Unions, in both the public and sectors. He has also served as general counsel for various private sector union pension and benefit funds.
