Douglas Wisneiski attended Villanova University where he graduated magna cum laude with majors in both English as well as Humanities and Augustinian Traditions in 2009. He also completed minors in Philosophy, Theology, and Business. Following his graduation from Villanova, Doug attended the East Stroudsburg University to obtain his license to teach English in Pennsylvania and obtained his Masters in Professional and Secondary Education with a concentration in English Education. He maintains his Pennsylvania teaching certification and has held a Certificate of Advanced Eligibility in New Jersey.
As a teacher, Doug taught both English and worked with as well as advocated for at-risk youth and students with severe emotional and behavioral disabilities. In 2017, he continued to work full-time and attended Seton Hall University School of law in their inaugural weekend program. While at Seton Hall, Doug was a Research Assistant to John Jacobi, where he participated in projects concerning students and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Doug was also a member of Seton Hall’s Legislative Journal. Doug also worked for New Jersey Reentry Corporation where he was a Legal Services coordinator and assisted formerly incarcerated individuals integrate back into society and reduce their risk of recidivism.
In January 2020, while continuing to attend law school, Doug joined our firm full-time as a law clerk. Following his graduation in 2021, Doug clerked for the Hon. Vicki A. Citrino, J.S.C. in the Passaic Vicinage, Civil Part during the 2021-2022 clerk term. As a clerk, Doug provided substantial legal research and writing on a variety of civil litigation topics and facilitated settlements across a variety of legal issues.
Doug was welcomed back to the firm as an Associate in September 2022.
